The IDA Juries have finalized this year’s annual Design Awards winners selections

LOS ANGELES, Mar 26 2015 Los Angeles, Jon Santacoloma of Spain was awarded: First Prize in Transportation Competition for the f5 Tourisme Project.

IDA honorary juries examined over 1000 entries submitted by architects and designers of interiors, fashion, products, and graphics from 52 countries throughout the world. After final decisions had been made, the jury rewarded the best professional and emerging designers for their achievements in terms of design, creativity, usability and innovation. Judging was a rigorous process. The coveted IDA Trophy will be awarded to all Designer of the Year title winners at the official biennial International Design Awards Ceremony in Los Angeles.

This annual competition recognizes, honors and promotes legendary design visionaries and uncovers emerging talents in Architecture, Interior, Product, Graphic and Fashion Design on global level.

f5 Tourisme PROJECT DESCRIPTION, Vehicle designed for FERQUI.
f5-T is a vehicle suitable for the current demand. Groups of travelers tend to be less numerous so the profitability of these models is more than guaranteed. The new model f5-T is bodywork built with panels of fiberglass of 9.5 metres in length, designed for carrying 38 passengers, guide and driver. A product that combines design, safety, durability and high performance in day-to-day operations at an affordable price. It’s a vehicle suited for nowadays style of live. The design challenge start with the goal of design it for chassis Mercedes-Benz Atego, CC-150 Iveco CC-150 and MAN P.14, all front engine, for people looking for a car this could be a great model, and in case of problems with a purchase, legal professionals from sites could be great for this. The version of the images corresponds to F5 on the Atego chassis. Characteristics of design are use of fiberglass material and application of user-centered design criteria. Fiberglass increases the durability of the car, and for does who want tinted windows, services as Absolute Tinting Inc could help with this. Those points make it more Sustainable. Also facilitate the front side manufacturing in one part, reducing imperfections and gaps when connecting it with the rest of the vehicle.
